Guaranteed Response Time for Maintenance and Repair
Whether your distribution system is experiencing nuisance tripping or a facility-wide shutdown, our Service Contract customers are guaranteed response – 24 hours a day – 7 days a week. Even if the date you request is fully booked HVM makes every effort to accommodate the needs of Service Contract customers.

Predetermined Maintenance Costs
Knowing and budgeting for monthly testing and maintenance expenses can make a facility run more cost effectively. That is the reason why, early in the Service Contract period, HVM sets up a complete program for testing and maintenance for the next 36 months. We plan ahead for your maintenance expenses and provide you with one rate you can build into your budget.

Rates Locked In for 3 years
The Service Contract program locks in an hourly rate for HVM’s brand of premium service for three full years. As rates for premium service naturally increase over time, you can rest assured that the rate you pay for facility reliability will remain constant. You can also rely on these rates should you have need for qualified personnel to do the work of a vacationing employee for short- or long-term assignments.

Free Emergency Consulting
During the Service Contract period, we provide you with unlimited free emergency consulting. Ask for details.

Complete Documentation and Reports
We provide you with full documentation of the work performed – complete with reports that are compiled by a graduate electrical engineer. Our reports meet or exceed the reporting standards set by OSHA, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAHO) and other governing bodies.

Reduced Rates for Incremental Work
Some customers are hesitant to include too many projects into the scope of their 3-year agreement. For them, the  Service Contract agreement provides for special lower rates for additional incremental work, which can be decided upon at a future date within the contract term.

Reliable Work Performed by Highly Trained HVM Technicians
Our test technicians are fully certified by NETA, the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (www.netaworld.org). They attend classes at the HVM Technical Training Center where they share experience with technicians from other divisions and are briefed on the latest testing techniques and instruments. An experienced specialist leads each HVM team and an electrical engineer reviews all test data.

State of the Art Equipment and Technology
HVM recently invested over $2 million in state of the art computerized test equipment. This test equipment dramatically improves the reliability of test data and enables more accurate predictive decisions based on trending test values over time. Our field engineers routinely use laptop computers and high-speed modems to share data and to solve complex engineering problems on the spot. 

Free Engineering Hours
Service Contract customers are entitled to free engineering service as well.   Ask for details.
